Avocado Crabmeat Cream Soup

4 avocados, peeled & seeded
1 (8 oz.) can of Crab Meat
1 onion, chopped very finely
4 Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
4 cups chicken stock
2 cups heavy cream
Salt & pepper to taste

Mash avocados and Crab Meat. Saute onion in butter. Add flour, garlic powder, and chicken stock. Whip until smooth. Add avocado and Crab mixture to the liquid. Simmer for 20 minutes. Add cream and season to taste. Serve either hot or very cold. NOTE: Light cream may be substituted for heavy cream.
