Cream of Asparagus Soup

1 c Asparagus pulp
2 c Thin white sauce
1 c Boiling water
Salt and pepper
Whipped cream
Cayenne pepper


Prepare asparagus pulp by rubbing cooked asparagus through a sieve. Add water and white sauce. Heat thoroughly. Season to taste. Garnish each serving with 1 teaspoon of whipped cream. 6 servings.
