Chicken and Shrimp Gumbo

2 or 3 lbs. Shrimp, peeled
1 medium fryer chicken

Boil chicken, remove bones and cut in bite size pieces.

1 bell pepper, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
5 stalks celery
1 (16 oz.) tomatoes
1 (16 oz.) tomato sauce
1 (16 oz.) cream style corn
3 bay leaves
Salt and pepper to taste

Saute pepper, onion and celery until tender. Mix all ingredients together and cook in a heavy pan. Simmer 20 to 30 minutes or until Shrimp is done. Serve over rice.
