Beer Soup

3/4 pt Milk
1 Stick cinnamon
2 pk Vanilla sauce powder
3 tb Water
1 pt Beer
2 1/2 oz -(up to) 3 1/2 oz Sugar
Lemon juice
1 Egg yolk with
1 tb Cold water
1 Egg white with
2 tb Sugar


Add cinnamon to milk & bring to a boil. Remove from heat, add vanilla powder blended with water; bring to a boil again. Add beer & a little lemon juice, season to taste with sugar & reheat without boiling. Beat egg yolk in water; add to soup & whisk lightly over low heat. Beat egg white until stiff & combine with sugar. Serve hot or cold with snowball garnish.
