Bean Soup

1 lb. navy or marrow fat beans
1 lg. onion
1 lg. ham bone
1 can Campbell's tomato soup

Soak beans in water overnight. Drain excess water. Put ham bone in large soup pot or crock. Cover ham bone with cold water. Bring to boil. Add beans. Take skin off onion and add whole onion to pot of boiling water. Bring to boil. Cover and simmer at least 6 hours or more. Then add tomato soup, boil and stir well.
