Beef Liver Dumpling Soup

Vegetable soup made with beef stock (use soup as is or strain and use only broth)
1 lb. beef liver
1/4 large onion
1 slice bread, dry
1 egg
Salt and pepper
1 1/2 c. flour


Grind together liver, onion and bread. Mix in egg and beat well. Add salt and pepper and flour. Mix again and drop into hot broth or soup by tablespoon. Cook 30-45 minutes.
