Broccoli Cheese Soup

1 (10 oz.) box frozen chopped broccoli
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. melted butter
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 1/2 c. milk
1 c. water
1 lb. Velveeta cheese

Cook broccoli according to directions; then drain. Saute onion in butter add broccoli and all remaining ingredients. Cook over low heat until cheese melts.
