Broccoli Cheese Soup
2 tbsp. oil
1 onion, chopped
4 c. water
1 bunch fresh broccoli in bite-size pieces
8 oz. noodles
2 pt. half & half
2 lb. Velveeta, cubed
Garlic powder, salt & pepper to taste
Saute onion in oil. Add water, seasoning and broccoli. Cook until broccoli is bright green. Add noodles. Cook until noodles are tender. Add cheese and cream. Add garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste. Heat through gently. Serves 6-8.
