Broccoli Cheese Soup

3 c. Green Giant cut broccoli
1/3 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. margarine
1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 c. milk
10 3/4 oz. can chicken broth
4 oz. (1 c.) cubed American cheese
1 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard

Add onion to broccoli and cook according to package directions; drain. In medium saucepan, melt margarine. Stir in flour, salt and pepper until well blended. Add milk gradually; cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Add broccoli and remaining ingredients. Cook until cheese is melted.
