Cabbage and Bean Soup

1 can Great Northern beans, rinsed and drained
1 sm. head cabbage, sliced
2 c. chicken broth
2 c. water
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. cider vinegar
1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up with juice


Cook cabbage in broth and water until tender. Add dash Beaumonde, salt, hot sauce, remaining ingredients and dash pepper. Simmer 30 minutes. Great with corn bread.
