Cabbage Soup

1 sm. head cabbage
1 green pepper
1/4 c. onion (optional)
6 c. water
6 chicken bouillon cubes
2 c. V-8 or tomato juice
16 oz. stewed tomatoes, sliced


Dice cabbage, pepper and onion. Boil water and add bouillon cubes. Add all other ingredients. Simmer on low heat until cabbage is tender. When serving add celery seasoning to taste.
