Cauliflower Soup

1 lg. head cauliflower, cut up
1 sm. onion, chopped fine
2 stalks celery, chopped fine
2 c. half and half
1 carrot, grated
Salt & pepper
2 to 3 c. milk
Flour to thicken, mix with sm. amount of milk until smooth


Cook cauliflower, onion, celery and carrot in small amount of water until tender. Add cream, milk and seasonings. Add flour that has been dissolved in milk. Simmer over low heat for approximately 10 minutes. Grated Cheddar cheese may be added if desired. Serves 5.
