Cheese Soup

2 c. sliced carrots
2 c. sliced celery
1 lg. onion, diced
3 sticks butter (not margarine)
1 1/2 c. flour
3 qts. boiling water
3 chicken bouillon cubes
1 lg. bottle Cheez Whiz
1 pkg. frozen peas


Cook vegetables (except peas) in small amount of water until tender. Melt Cheez Whiz in microwave. Heat butter in large pan. Stir in flour until mixture boils. Remove from heat. Add 1 1/2 quart boiling water to butter/flour mixture. Stir until well blended. Add chicken bouillon cubes to other half of boiling water to dissolve, then stir into flour, butter and water mixture. Stir well. Return to heat and cook until smooth and creamy. Stir in Cheez Whiz and undrained vegetables. Add frozen peas.
