Crab Bisque

1 c. butter
1 qt. Half and Half
1 qt. milk
2 tbsp. parsley (or more)
1 1/2 tsp. pepper
1 sm. shake of red pepper (optional)
1 tsp. minced dried onion
5 tbsp. Old Bay seasoning (or more)
1 tbsp. salt (or to your taste if desired)
1 lb. crabmeat


Combine butter, Half and Half and milk. Heat until butter is melted. Add parsley, pepper, onion, Old Bay and salt. Heat almost to a boil. Gently fold in crabmeat. Thicken with cornstarch mixed with cold water until desired consistency. Stir constantly (do not scorch).
