Creamy Wild Rice Soup
Carrots (about 2 cups)
Celery (about 2 cups)
Onion (about 1 med.)
1 pt. half & half
1 pt. whipping cream
1 lg. can mushrooms
8 chicken bouillon cubes
1 lb. bag wild rice
3 or 4 chicken breasts
BOIL chicken until done (when it falls off bones)
BOIL rice until it splits
Salt and pepper to taste
Save water from chicken, cut up chicken in to small bite size pieces, add to chicken water. Add all ingredients above EXCEPT for whipping cream and half & half. Cook until veggies are done and add the 2 creams. Cook until thick. "Excellent" If soup doesn't thicken, add instant mashed potatoes to soup, by just dumping them in from box.
