4 Diced chicken breasts
1 lb Shrimp, peeled
2 cn Stewed tomatoes (14oz cans)
1 cn Kernal corn
1 c Chopped green pepper
1 tb Soy sauce
1 tb Salt
2 tb File'
3 Bay leaves
1/2 c Chopped fresh parsley
1 c Chopped okra, optional or 2 c Chopped okra, optional
1/2 lb Sliced smoked sausage
1 c Diced crab meat
1 c Rotel tomatoes
1 c Chopped celery
1 lg Onion, chopped
1 tb Worchestershire sauce
1 tb Pepper
1 tb Garlic powder
1 c Diced carrots
Put chicken, sausage and onions in large pot, cover with water and
boil for about 20 minutes. Add all remaining ingredients - except
shrimp and crabmeat - add water to cover, simmer for about 30
minutes. Add shrimp and crabmeat; simmer for additiona 20-30 minutes.
Stir occasionally and add water as needed. Be sure to taste along
the way to the the spices to your liking.
Vary according to your tastes. Serve over rice.
