Hearty Hamburger Soup

2 c. of water
5 c. of diced potatoes
1 c. of diced carrots
1/2 c. of diced onions
2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 chicken bouillon cubes
1 tsp. parsley flakes
1 lb. browned hamburger
1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese
2 c. tomato juice
1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. water
4 c. milk

Cook first 8 ingredients together for 15 minutes. Add tomato juice, 1 pound browned hamburger. Cook 5 minutes longer or until vegetables are soft. Add Velveeta cheese. Mix 1/4 cup flour to 1/2 cup of water and add to above and cook and stir till thick, then add 4 cups milk. Makes 3 quarts.
