Spinach Soup

3 lbs. spareribs, cut apart
1 c. barley
1 lg. onion, chopped
2 boxes frozen chopped spinach


Boil spareribs and onion in water for 1 hour. Cool and skim off grease. Add barley and boil for 1 hour. Put in spinach and cook until heated. Add salt and pepper to taste.
