Wild Rice Soup

1/2 c. uncooked wild rice
3 cans chicken broth
2/3 c. sliced carrots
2/3 c. chopped celery
2/3 c. sliced onions
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. Cheez Whiz

Cook rice and drain. Add broth, salt, pepper and vegetables. Simmer about 1/2 hour. Add cheese and simmer until melted. 4-6 servings.
