Wild Rice Soup

1/2 c. wild rice
1/2 lb. bacon, diced
1 qt. Half and Half
1 c. fresh mushrooms (optional)
1/4 c. onion, diced
2 cans cream of potato soup
Milk


Boil wild rice in four cups water for 45 minutes. Drain. Fry onion, bacon and mushrooms. Drain. Mix rice, bacon, onions, soup and Half and Half. Thin to desired consistency. Simmer over low heat for 4 to 5 hours.
