Wild Rice Soup

2 cans cream of potato soup
1 pt. half & half or milk
1 pt. water
8 slices bacon, crisp
1 med. onion, chopped
1 1/2 c. American cheese, grated
2 heaping c. cooked wild rice
1/2 c. or more ham, diced
1/2 tsp. parsley flakes
1/8 tsp. pepper


Boil or simmer soup, milk or half and half, water, bacon, onion, cheese, rice, ham, parsley and pepper. Cook about 20 minutes or so.
