Wild Rice Soup

2 pkgs. frozen white and wild rice* (Green Giant)
2 tbsp. butter or margarine
1 tbsp. minced onion
1/4 c. flour
4 c. chicken broth (32 oz.)
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. Half and Half


Cook rice according to directions on package. In medium saucepan saute onion and butter or margarine. Blend in flour gradually; add broth; stir constantly until mixture thickens. Stir in rice and salt. Simmer 5 minutes; blend in Half and Half to serving temperature. DO NOT BOIL. Serves 6 to 8. *Dry package wild rice mix may be substituted for frozen.
