Zucchini Soup

1 (2 lb.) zucchini (sliced)
1/4 c. butter
1 med. onion (chopped)
2 cans chicken broth
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. half and half


Saute zucchini and onions in pan until limp. Add broth and seasonings. Cover and simmer 15 minutes. Add the half and half slowly. Put in blender at high speed 15 to 30 seconds. Serve hot or cold. May be garnished if desired.
